Kerron Ennis to release album

Ryan Mark_The Chosen Prodigy Gospel music sensation Kerron Ennis may release an album by year end. Ennis who sings the hit song, ‘Daddy Oh’ with DJ Nicholas has made mention that it is possible that she may release her debut album later this year.
Kerron Ennis has also done a recording with Stitchie, God we need.

Sumfest likely to drop Sizzla

Singjay Sizzla, whose career has been dogged by legal controversies in recent months, is likely not to perform on Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest next year, the sponsors and organisers have hinted.
Why? Inciting violence in his lyrics.

Chuck Fenda rides the charts with Murderer

Murderer is the latest chart hit from deejay Chuck Fenda. The single was recorded and released on Chad ‘Goofy’ Simpson’s Gideon rhythm for the Young Blood label.
According to Fenda, the idea for the single is based on what he’s seen taking place in Jamaica and around the world. “To how mi see it a gwaan in Jamaica and around the world, the idea came naturally. It’s like the man dem nuh have no heart,” said Fenda in a recent interview.

Congratulations London!

It is really good to know that the 2012 Olympics will be held in London England :D. Congratulations London, we love you. We are proud to have been, and we (Jamaica) are still a part of you.
Having the Olympics in London will provide a lot of support for Jamaica, because there are a lot of Jamaican fans in London.

Right now, I can just begin to imagine when Asafa, Veronica, Sherone, Usain, Jermaine, A’leen and all the other Jamaican Olympians begin to go around the track in London… the support is going to be phenomenonal!...

Jamaicans demand apology from iPod executive

Furious Jamaicans and reggae fans are calling for an apology from iTunes A&R manager Kirk Bonin after he asked to be disassociated from all Jamaican artists.
