Well for those of you who do not already know, DJ Nicholas will be releasing his album within the next 2 to 3 weeks, and it is going to be good. I got a good listen of the album last night both on Love101 FM and at Jesus Party, and from what I heard, this album seems to be good. It includes songs like “Gimmie di mic” (not sure about the spelling) and others like “God man dem”.
Well, i have noticed, that people have been taking the opportunity to add songs all over the site, and especially in the song requests and Guestbook sections.
We are glad for the support and now you can add songs in the brand new, members only area!.
This way you can add songs for your friends to see, and they can add songs that you want to see. That way, everybody benefits! So add some songs whenever you want. Click here to begin.
Finally one of the caribbean’s premier movements will be launched soon. It’s really hush hush now, because nobody wants to be the first to let out the secret, but i can say that its official. FiwiVoice.com will be launched soon. It will be one of the top sites in the caribbean that will allow people to express themselves on issues relating to youth, poverty, entertainment, social issues, gospel etc. For now they are only taking names and addresses so don’t be left out. Go on over to their site and give them your info, and they’ll let you know what’s up. www.fiwivoice.com I hear they are looking for writers, send them an e-mail.

Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley has shrugged off criticism that his latest single, Welcome To Jamrock, gives a false and unflattering image of Jamaica, arguing that the recording was inspired by what he saw happening here.
Welcome to Jamrock is reality!

Murderer is the latest chart hit from deejay Chuck Fenda. The single was recorded and released on Chad ‘Goofy’ Simpson’s Gideon rhythm for the Young Blood label.
According to Fenda, the idea for the single is based on what he’s seen taking place in Jamaica and around the world. “To how mi see it a gwaan in Jamaica and around the world, the idea came naturally. It’s like the man dem nuh have no heart,” said Fenda in a recent interview.
June was a very good month for Jamaicanlyrics.com. Of course a lot more is left to be done, but there were some improvements during this month.
It is really good to know that the 2012 Olympics will be held in London England
. Congratulations London, we love you. We are proud to have been, and we (Jamaica) are still a part of you.
Having the Olympics in London will provide a lot of support for Jamaica, because there are a lot of Jamaican fans in London.
Right now, I can just begin to imagine when Asafa, Veronica, Sherone, Usain, Jermaine, A’leen and all the other Jamaican Olympians begin to go around the track in London… the support is going to be phenomenonal!...
Furious Jamaicans and reggae fans are calling for an apology from iTunes A&R manager Kirk Bonin after he asked to be disassociated from all Jamaican artists.
