I sought 
wisdom of an old wise man
Cause I knew 
was first in His plans
I knew my answers had 
come from above
This Earth had shown me no love
So I told Him I was feeling down
Sorrow had pushed me around
Said He had one guarantee
would bring me peace and liberty
Freedom He said is found in Christ
He is Author of Abundant Life

Seeking relief from trials and distress
Take counsel of 
veteran
former hostage of devil’s plans
And be released from chains of sin
For this is war can win
Yes victory is assured through
